Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights against hunger worldwide. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has been its identity for over 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Assignment :
Under the supervision of the Country Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of ACF / AAH in Cameroon, while providing a favorable security environment allowing ACF teams to be efficient in operational implementation in Cameroon.
More specifically, your missions will be to:
Design and implement ACF / AAH’s humanitarian access strategy
Define and implement ACF’s security management system
Train and raise awareness among ACF / AAH staff on the security environment, procedures and security rules
You will be the functional link for the Security and Humanitarian Access Advisors Maroua, Kousseri and then Security and Humanitarian Access Manager Kumba.

Profile:
You hold a higher degree (Bac+4) in humanitarian project management, international relations or other relevant fields related to the requirements of the position.
You have at least 3 years of experience in a position related to personnel and organizational security, risk assessment, security management and security awareness, particularly in unsecure and unstable environments.
Ideally, you have already worked with ACF.
You have good stress management and emotional intelligence skills, and complexity management.
You are particularly competent in communication and writing.
You are professionally fluent in French and English, both orally and in writing.
Conditions of employment
Vaccination against Mpox is recommended for employees travelling to this country.
Fixed-term contract under French law: 12 months until 11/30/2025
Gross monthly salary: from 2,597 to 2,968 euros depending on experience
Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary
Increase in basic salary: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract
Per diem and monthly living expenses: 619 euros net, paid in the field
Monthly context allowance: 150 euros
Child allowance: 1,500 euros per year and per child present in the country of origin (ceiling of 6,000 euros/year)
Transportation and accommodation: Coverage of travel and collective accommodation
Medical coverage: 100% coverage of health contributions (CFE + supplementary health insurance) and repatriation insurance
Salary maintenance arrangements (sickness, maternity, paternity)
Leave and RnR: 25 days per year of CP and 20 RnR per year; ticket coverage with ceiling to go to the chosen break zone, and 215 euros flat-rate compensation per RnR
