Coordinator Learning and development Logistics/Purchasing and supply/IT MSF F/H At Doctors Without Borders

Médecins Sans Frontières, an international humanitarian medical association created in 1971, provides medical assistance to populations whose lives are threatened: mainly in the event of armed conflicts, but also epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters or exclusion from care. The French section is present in around thirty countries.

We are recruiting within the Learning and Development (L&D) support service a Learning and Development Coordinator for the Logistics/Purchasing and Supply/MSF IT sector.

Context

The Learning and Development (L&D) department aims to act as a partner and provide adequate support to strengthen the capacities of the individuals who make up the association.

Learning has always been at the heart of MSF’s practices and for several years, the organization has been working to break down the barriers between its training offering, a system in which MSF has historically invested the most, and the rest of the systems needed for the professional development of its teams.

In this context, the organization has formalized the institutional vision of Learning & Development (L&D) and the role of each person in implementing this vision, while working on broader issues such as the organization of work and the culture of learning that MSF wishes to encourage in all its areas of intervention.

In a reaffirmed desire to position itself as a support for operations, the L&D unit’s mission is to develop the learning offer and tools to support the professional development of teams.
