Assignment :

Under the supervision of the Cash Transfers and Protection Manager, your mission will be to contribute to the development of a technical note on Cash Transfers and Protection, as well as to the capitalization of Action Against Hunger’s expertise in this area. More specifically, your missions will be as follows:
Development of a technical note on Cash Transfers and Protection (40%)
– Carrying out an inventory of the “CVA for Protection” activities implemented by ACF.
– Review of CVA tools in order to identify gaps and formulate recommendations for better integration of the aspects of cross-cutting Protection, Gender and Inclusion.
– Review of the literature on “CVA for Protection” activities in the humanitarian sector.
– Mapping of donors involved in the theme.
– Writing of a summary note with recommendations for the Gender and Protection teams as well as the technical teams.

Sectoral capitalization on Cash Transfer/CVA programs (25%)
– Identification of projects to be capitalized in the different sectors.
– Collection of specific support needs of country offices.
– Proposal and facilitation of a remote capitalization process for each mission.
– Drafting of capitalization sheets.
Capitalization on programs related to Social Protection (25%)
– Identification of projects to be capitalized within the framework of the 2021-2025 Social Protection Plan.
– Collection of needs of country offices related to Social Protection.
– Facilitation of a remote capitalization process for each mission.

Other activities (10%)
– Occasional contribution to other activities as required by the team.

Profile:

With a background in humanitarian action, development, economics, social sciences or law, you are recognized for your analytical and synthesis skills.
You are fluent in French and English, both orally and in writing, as well as the Office Pack (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
A good command of Excel is essential. Knowledge of databases is a plus.

Conditions of employment

Mandatory Condition: Have an internship agreement issued by a French law educational institution
Duration of the Internship: 6 months
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Salary Conditions:
Internship compensated at the level of the minimum legal hourly compensation (based on 35 hours per week)
21 days of RTT (prorated to the time spent in the organization)
Days of absence for exams, university research, etc.
Transport: 50% of the package between home and the workplace
Meal vouchers: 60% covered by the association for a value of 8euros
175euros/year (social works) and reduction on cinema tickets
Teleworking: Open to all and from the metropolitan territory, our teleworking policy defines the activities of the position requiring a mandatory time spent at the association’s headquarters, and allows you to choose to fully or partially exercise the rest of this time by teleworking. For this purpose, there are no defined face-to-face days for this internship. Times of presence at the headquarters will also be dedicated to collective sharing: 3 days per month on average for meetings and collective events and 2 days of mandatory presence the first 6 weeks when you join the team.
