Details of tasks :
DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS – OBSERVATORY
As part of the drafting of the’Observatoire de l’access to the’au in Mayotte :
Support and follow-up of the collection of qualitative data (testimonials) and qualitative data (data from the IS teams and its partners) locally in order to bring out the reality of the needs of people with a’a non-existent or insufficient access to the’EHA
Help to the’analysis of quantitative and qualitative data on the’access to the’EHA in Mayotte
Analysis of secondary data (publication and reports)
MONITORING, RESEARCH AND CONTEXTUAL ANALYSIS
Ensure a watch and set up a calendar of opportunities for advocacy and’interpellation for an effectiveness of the’access to the’eau and sanitation in Mayotte ;
Provide contextual analysis and media and legal monitoring on the local context and the’application of rights to’eau and’sanitation in Mayotte.
ADVOCACY
Drafting of advocacy documents,’interpellation letters, internal and external publications ;
Mobilization of’a network of associative partners to promote the raising of’information EHA in Mayotte and its centralization by SI
Participate in the implementation of’a strategy of advocacy with the associative partners in local
Participate in the mobilization of national and international human rights protection mechanisms
Participate in inter-associative meetings with IS partners
Support for the organisation of training courses for local IS partners
Participate in disseminating to partners and institutions the knowledge of the rights to’eau and’ sanitation applicable on the territory
GENERAL
Participate in weekly and monthly meetings of the office and the various services worked;
Provide support to the’ all areas according to requests.
YOUR PROFILE
- Level BAC +4 minimum, having a higher education in political science, social science, public policy or law
- With a strong interest and knowledge for the problems of water insecurity and Overseas
- Good editorial skills,’analysis and writing
- A desire to work as a team
- Mastery of the Microsoft Office pack (good knowledge of’Excel) ;
- Desired experience in data collection and’analysis
- Good synthesis and relational skills
- Proactivity and critical thinking
- Organization & anticipation
- Commitment to the principles and work of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL
IF will offer you the following conditions
- Position based at the offices of the Mission France de Solidarities International in Marseille
- Contract 6 MonthS WITH MANDATORY INTERNSHIP AGREEMENT
- Legal gratuity of 4.70 euros/hour.
- The gratuity is calculated in proportion to the actual hours of presence over the month (on average 1 month = 154h, or 22 days of 7h/day)
- Restaurant tickets (60%), transport tickets (50%) supported by the’association
