OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION :

Within the Institutional Finance Department, you lead the’team Institutional Financements (FI) France in support of the Director FI, on the strategic mobilization of institutional financing France, France, in particular by proposing a donor strategy and by taking charge of the day-to-day management of the portfolio of French and Monegasque institutional donors on a given geographical and/or technical perimeter.

For this :

  1. You support the operational teams in the management of contracts with the donors of the portfolio
  • Update and registration of administrative records with donors
  • Accompany teams in the day-to-day management of financing contracts
  • Ensure the role of’interface with the institutional lessor in the day-to-day management of financing contracts.
  • Support Operatives in negotiating contracts, signing them and managing them
  • Control the quality of contractual information on the internal financial information system’.
  1. You contribute to the search for project funding for the’organization
  • To collect, analyse and disseminate in-house knowledge on donors and other institutional actors/partners
  • Exchange and negotiate with donors and institutional partners, conduct advocacy with these actors and defend the interests of HI
  • Identify regular funding opportunities
  • Be proactive in the’ identification of program funding needs and potential sources of associated funding from donors
  1. You capitalize and disseminate information on the donors of the portfolio and are guarantor of the good knowledge of the rules of the latter
  • Update administrative and contractual information on portfolio backers in the internal network ; and circulate it to operational and technical staff ;
  • Contribute to the development of training tools and provide training to headquarters and field teams
  1. You lead the’ team FI France (2persons) in support of the Director-trice FI
  • Coordinate and monitor the scope of FI France activities. Relying on contributors, of which you are not hierarchical manager.
  • Follow the action plans established by the FI Director
  • Regulate the load on daily tasks, manage priorities and provide answers to the operational questions of the’ team in connection with the realization of the’activity
  1. You contribute to the transversal files of the FI Directorate

PROFILE REQUIRED :

  • Higher education in International Cooperation, political sciences or social sciences, you benefit from’a work experience of at least 5 years, if possible within an international humanitarian or developing NGO.
  • Mastery of the NGO environment and the institutional landscape of the portfolio donors is necessary for this position : You have worked on the management of donor contracts and have proven negotiating experience.
  • You have’a good capacity of’analysis and understand the strategic issues
  • Preferably, you have experience in networking, promotion & and official representation for collaboration & fundraising
  • You demonstrate very good writing skills (in English and French)
  • You have’a good spirit of synthesis and communication and you are a pedagogue
  • You are organized(e) and attentive(ve) to details while knowing how to work efficiently and quickly and you know how to manage priorities.
  • You know how to work in a team

ACCESSIBILITY OF THE WORKPLACE :

The premises are easily accessible by public transport (bus, metro). Car parking and a bicycle park are also available. Within the building, access ramps and elevators ensure better traffic. All workstations are located in Open Space but boxes are available on each floor to work in peace if necessary. The’work space is very bright.
