Created in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger in the world. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has been the basis of its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, in particular during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Mission :
Under the supervision of the Head of Department SMSP and Protection, your role will be to capitalize on the implementation processes and technical aspects of the psychosocial approach, including, in the nutritional care of children Malnutris Aigue Severus, by mobile teams and health facilities in the South East and South of Madagascar.
In this context, your missions will be :
Designing the methodology with the mission project team and technical support from HeadquartersDeveloping the scoping note and methodology for conducting capitalization
Designing tools for data collection
Ensure the updating and monitoring of the schedule
Plan and carry out data collection (primary and secondary) in the areas of intervention in the field, including conducting consultation workshops at the Region level Participating in secondary data review (project reviews, project evaluation reports, capitalization, intervention results) to document processes, and, results, impacts of the intervention
Ensure the training of the supervisor··s and investigator·s in the field
Ensure the link with the field team for the collection of data
Organize and lead the consultation internally at the level of the field teams
Organize and lead the workshop with the health authorities and partners in the areas of’intervention (Greater South and South East)
Supervise the collection of testimonies from beneficiaries
Contribute to the analysis, synthesis, recommendations and sharing of knowledgeAnalyze the data collected
Write a report combining the 2 Regions of the study including lessons learned, knowledge developed, barriers and success of integrated SMSP Health/care/Nutrition in MS and CRENI (processes and techniques)
Propose recommendations to improve the intervention (revision of SMSP SOP and SMSP/integration/Nutrition) and for the replicability of the intervention in connection with the update of the national protocol for the care of acute malnourished children
Present the results internally ACF and externally (partners, local authorities, cluster, etc.)

Profile :
You hold a degree in psychology, humanities or social sciences, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in project management and capitalization methodology, project monitoring and evaluation.
You have ideally already worked with ACF.
You know the interventions in Mental Health and Psychosocial Support, Health/Nutrition especially in humanitarian projects.
You have significant experience in capitalizing on good practices and lessons learned from humanitarian projects.
You have knowledge of the Malagasy context, especially South and South East.
You are able to analyze and write clear and synthetic reports.
You have an ability to manage time and resources allotted and work in short time frames.
You have already successfully managed teams of day-to-day providers.
You master the French language, both orally and in writing and have a professional level in English.
Employment conditions
For national applicants :
Fixed-term contract under Malagasy law: 3 months
Base salary: from 6,890,927 MGA to 7,442,201 MGA depending on the experience
Housing premium : 150,000.00
Context premium : 70,000.00
Health Insurance with NY HAVANA for you and your family
A 13th prorated month will be paid to you
For international applicants :
Fixed-term contract of use under French law: 3 months
Gross monthly salary: from 2597 to 2968 euros depending on experience
Pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary
Per diem and monthly living expenses: 536euros net, paid on the ground
Monthly context allowance: 150euros
Child allowance: 1500euros per year per child present in the country of origin (6000euros/year ceiling)
Transport and housing : Travel management and collective housing
Medical coverage : 100% of the coverage of health contributions (CFE + complementary health) and repatriation insurance
Salary maintenance devices (illness, maternity, paternity)
Leave and RnR : 25 days per year of CP and 20 RnR per year; support of the ticket with ceiling to go to the chosen break area, and 215euros of lump sum compensation by RnR
