About: Action Against Hunger
Created in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger in the world. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has been the basis of its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, in particular during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Action Against Hunger coordinates its programs around 5 areas of activity: Nutrition and Health – Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection – Food Safety and Ways of Existence – Water, Health, Sanitation and Hygiene – Advocacy. Mission :
Under the supervision of the Head of Accounting, you will have the mission to guarantee the security of financial flows, the reliability of accounting data, etc, and ensure the management and supervision of general accounting on the international scope.
Specifically, your missions will be as follows:
Implement accounting, legal and internal policies.
Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, issue proposals for changes if necessary, and design them by adapting them to ACF specificities.
Ensure compliance with procedures, make proposals for changes if necessary, and define procedures on its perimeter.
Manager the International Accounting division.
Organize and manage individual points, develop and follow up action plans, ensure appreciation interviews, recruit team members, provide support to everyday issues.
Manage the organization and distribution of work, according to the needs of the accounting department.
Consolidate accounting data from the computer files of each mission (revision of accounts).
Guarantee the proper maintenance of the accounts and the monitoring of the other assets of the association on its perimeter: regular analysis, half-yearly review, justification with the CACs and auditors.
Conduct an analytical review of the accounts in relation to regional financial managers.
Ensure the update of the entries on its perimeter and alert in case of difficulties.
Profile :
You have a higher education in accounting (DCG and/or DSCG). You have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in accounting.
Experience in team management is desirable. You are organized and are able to manage priorities
You are recognized· for your strength of conviction and your communication skills (written and oral).
You have a great command of the Office Pack. Mastery of an ERP such as UBW is an asset.
Good financial knowledge of international donor rules is a plus.
A fluent English (written and oral) is essential.
Employment conditions
Status: Autonomous Framework – CDI – Full-time
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Remuneration: From 45K to 54Keuros gross annual over 13 months according to experience
