Main responsibilities : under the supervision of the head of office in Adré, the incumbent takes care of :
- Monitor and maintain electrical and plumbing installations and perform new works ;
- Design the plan for an electrical installation and plumbing ;
- Install residential and industrial electrical systems ;
- Perform ordinary maintenance of electrical installations, apparatus and systems ( building, household appliances, suppressor etc ) ;
- Identify and repair electrical and plumbing failures and malfunctions ;
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests assigned by the line manager ;
- Perform regular inspections of electrical and plumbing equipment (suppressor, tanks, valves, gas, pipeline etc.) ;
- Identify repair needs and develop a reasonable and effective quote ;
- Monitoring and periodic maintenance of electrical, plumbing, cold and air conditioning and other work Premises ;
- Ensure other small interventions (door locks, various readjustments, seepage of roofs etc.) ;
- Effectively supervise the work of service providers and report regularly to the line manager ;
- Draft and submit to the hierarchy the weekly reports of the interventions ;
- Submit internal purchase requests to the hierarchy ;
- Monitor and plan the work of service providers: air conditioning, fire extinguishers, fumigation, garbage collection ;
- Report any incident to the line manager ;
- Work to achieve annual goals.
- Minimum profile required – Knowledge, experience and personal qualities :
- Have a professional training / diploma at CAP or BET level in Electricity ;
- Hold a proof of knowledge in plumbing ( training certificate, work certificate ) ;
- Have knowledge of electrical engineering and plumbing ;
- Be able to read circuit diagrams and plans ;
- Have skills in the construction, installation and maintenance of electrical and plumbing systems ;
- Have skills in the assembly and wiring of residential and industrial electrical switchboards and cabinets ;
- Have knowledge of the working instruments and tools of an electrician and plumber ;
- Have knowledge of installation standards and electrical safety ;
- Have a proven experience of’at least 2 to 3 years in Electricity building and plumbing ;
- Have a very good ability to’analysis of failures ;
- Be flexible and available to make trips to ICRC sites of short duration ;
- Interest in building work (painting, masonry, repair).
