Consulting Context
In Guatemala there are a series of Regulations, Government Agreements and Conventions ratified with the ILO (International Labor Organization) on Occupational Health and Safety issues, which must be completed, as a priority, with respect to International Standards, but the hierarchy of legal compliance and the existence of specific regulations. However, if the organization adopts voluntary international regulations, they must document compliance with them. It is recommended that the standards used be those that provide greater protection to workers.
- Prepare OHS Plans for the different Save the Children headquarters in Guatemala.
- Support for the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Plan for SCI headquarters.
- Validate the administrative processes before the Ministry of Labor and the Guatemalan Institute of Social Security that are required in relation to the matter, both the actions related to this plan and its provisions in general.
Aim
Prepare and implement Occupational Health and Safety plans for the different Save the Children headquarters in Guatemala, as well as validate the administrative processes before the Ministry of Labor and the Guatemalan Social Security Institute that are required in relation to the matter. Both the actions related to these plans and their provisions in general, as well as compliance with the updates required for the Save the Children headquarters.
Services provided by the provider
- Develop the work plan and schedule approved by the Human Resources Department.
- Design the SSO Plans, IPER Matrix, SSO training plans approved and registered with the Mintrab for the Santa Cruz del Quiche and Jutiapa headquarters.
- Review and update of the SSO Plans, IPER Matrix, SSO training plans approved and registered with the Mintrab for the Central Office headquarters in Guatemala and Cunen, Quiche.
- The Consultant must issue a final report on all actions developed.
- Survey of processes in work areas, activities and jobs.
- Development of Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment by job (Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Ergonomics).
- Development and delivery of Occupational Health Plans, signed by a doctor registered with the MINTRAB.
- Advice on the process of requirements and registration of the SSO Plan on the MINTRAB platform.
- It must be considered that visits to the different headquarters in the Quiche area are made in a single trip and a second trip to Jutiapa.

Failure to comply with the closing date and incomplete documentation may result in the invalidity of the offer.
The offer submitted must be valid for consideration for a period of no less than 90 days from the closing date. Save the Children is under no obligation to award the contract to the lowest bidder.
