HR Coordinator At Hope Revival Organization


Role Summary:

The HR Coordinator is responsible for leading the implementation of HR and staff
policies, as well as overseeing various human resource functions including
recruitment, selection, and development of high-caliber staff. He/She will ensure the
consistent and efficient implementation of HRO’s HR policies and procedures.
Additionally, the HR Coordinator will manage any HR team members and will be
accountable for integrating HR functions with ERP systems, ensuring seamless
operational efficiency. He/She will also oversee the secure and systematic archiving
of employee files, maintaining confidentiality and ease of access for HR management
purposes. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the HR Coordinator will play a
pivotal role in shaping the organization’s HR strategies and practices, contributing
significantly to the mission and goals of Hope Revival Organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1 HR Strategic Planning:
– Set up the HR department and provide management oversight and leadership.
– Develop an HR strategy for the country program aligned with the organization’s
national and regional goals and objectives.
– Develop and implement manpower planning to ensure timely recruitment of
staff with the required competence.
– Devise and implement metrics as needed.
2 Hiring & Recruitment:
– Facilitate and coordinate the recruitment process according to HRO HR/Staff
policy.
– Coordinate recruitments and orientations/transition of both new/transferring
staff.
– Develop job position requests, job descriptions, and make recommendations,
ensuring accuracy and consistency.
– Coordinate vacancy posting in internal and external media as appropriate.
– Coordinate interviews and provide senior management with interview outcome
summaries.
– Maintain the tracking system of the recruitment process and compile monthly
reports on recruitment.
3 HR Administration & Compliance:
– Oversee HR-related administrative duties and ensure compliance with existing
legal and government reporting requirements.
– Ensure HRO is in compliance with all Turkish labor law.
– Regularly review and update the Staff Handbook and HR policies and procedures.
4 Compensation & Benefits Management:
– Manage staff information related to timesheets and leave.
– Oversee the salary database and facilitate the administration of staff benefits.

Collaborate with the finance team on payroll documentation and staff training on
timesheet completion.
5 Performance Management:
– Lead the performance management process, including annual reviews and goalsetting.
– Coordinate the annual performance evaluation process.
6 Employee Relations & Discipline:
– Resolve workplace issues and conflicts, acting as a mediator in disciplinary
procedures.
– Maintain effective negotiation processes and harmonious
employee/employer relationships.
7 Employee Relations & Discipline:
– Lead investigations to resolve issues/conflict in the workplace with close
collaboration with senior management.
8 HR Information and Reports:
– Coordinate all HR reports (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) preparations.
– Submit all HR reports or data requests on time.
9 Employee File Archiving:
– Ensure the secure and systematic archiving of employee files, both in digital
and physical formats, to maintain confidentiality and ease of access for HR
management purposes.
10 ERP System Integration:
– Utilize ERP systems for HR management, including payroll processing,
employee data management, and HR reporting. Ensure seamless integration
of HR functions with other business processes within the ERP system to
enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy

Qualifications and Work Experience:
– Master’s degree in human resources or related field; HR professional certification
preferred (e.g., SPHR, GPHR, CIPD).
– Minimum of 6 years of HR management experience within NGOs/INGOs,
including at least three years in conflict/emergency locations.
– Demonstrated success in HR generalist roles supporting 100+ employees across
multiple locations.
– Strong interpersonal and analytical skills; ability to work across cultures and
organizational units.
– Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Turkish is a plus.

– Ability to manage priorities, work under pressure, and make quick decisions.
– Strong command of HR technology and data analysis
