About: Action against Hunger
Created in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights against world hunger. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has founded its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies linked to conflict and natural disasters. Action Against Hunger coordinates its programs around 5 areas of activity: Nutrition and Health – Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection – Food Security and Livelihoods – Water, Sanitation and Hygiene – Advocacy. Mission :
Your work-study program will take place within a multicultural team of around ten people who are passionate about their work. This experience will allow you to acquire the necessary foundations to master the different stages of the project management cycle and will facilitate your future professional integration into the humanitarian sector.
Your main missions:
Provide support to the pool and missions in the contractual management of projects and reporting
. Under the supervision of the Program Support Officer or the pool, provide support for monitoring contracts and reporting deadlines
. Provide support to the pool and missions in the development, review and submission of donor and equity reports, project proposals, contracts,
etc. Support missions and participate in the production of operational data compilations (Compilations of Activity Progress Reports -APR¬¬¬-, etc.)
. With the support of the CAP, control and facilitate the reporting of monthly APRs (narrative and quantitative), archive them and transmit them to the Technical Operational Representatives
. Support the missions and the pool on files related to the missions (administrative files, translations, etc.)
Facilitate the exchange of information within the pool, with the missions and with the other departments of ACF Headquarters
. Write meeting minutes (pool, country strategy, etc.), have them validated and distribute them
. Write internal and external communication documents concerning the missions and have them validated by the Regional Director of Operations (mission points, country sheets of the Moral Activity Report, etc.)
. Archive original documents (project proposals, financing contracts, amendments, reports, etc.) by country and by donor in paper and electronic format as well as any useful documents.
. In conjunction with the Program Support Officer, participate in the organization and completion of key documents on the international collaborative platform No Hunger Forum
,. With the support of the CAP, participate in the realization of cross-functional projects at the pool level (project monitoring document and reporting deadlines for all missions, ways of working between the pool and the missions, etc. )
. Make purchasing requests necessary for the operation of the pool (supplies, business cards, etc.)

Profile :
You are preparing for higher education such as Bac +4/5 project management in international solidarity or political science. Obviously, you have a keen interest in the humanitarian sector, otherwise you wouldn’t be here 😉
You are recognized for your sense of communication, very good writing skills, and your responsiveness! You are fluent in English and French, both written and spoken. You also know how to demonstrate autonomy and adaptation.
Experience working in a team, in an associative environment and/or internationally would be appreciated.
Terms of employment
Status: 12-month work-study professionalization or apprenticeship contract
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Salary Conditions:
Remuneration based on the legal minimum (percentage of the SMIC depending on age and level of training) on 13 months
21 days of RTT (prorated according to the time spent in the organization)
Health coverage, welfare: 80% covered by ACF
Transport: 50% covered by the package between home and place of work
Vouchers- restaurant: 60% covered by the association for a value of 8 euros
Social works and reduction on cinema tickets
Teleworking: Open to all and from the metropolitan area, the teleworking policy defines the activities of the position requiring a mandatory presence time at the association’s headquarters, and allows you to choose to fully or partially exercise the rest of this time by teleworking. In fact, a mandatory presence at headquarters of 8 days/month has been defined for this position. Presence time at headquarters will also be dedicated to collective sharing: 3 days per month on average for meetings and collective events and 2 days of compulsory presence for the first 6 weeks when you join the team.
