WHAT WE DO …

SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) is an association of’ international humanitarian aid which, for more than 40 years, has been providing relief to populations affected by armed conflicts and natural disasters by responding to the vital needs of, drinking, eating, s’abriter. Particularly engaged in the fight against diseases related to unhealthy’, the leading cause of death in the world, SI implements through its interventions an expertise in the field of’access to drinking’water,’sanitation and the promotion of hygiene but also in that, essential, of, food security and means of’. Present in about twenty countries, SI – 2000 teams in total composed of’expatriates, national staffs, permanent staff at headquarters, etc,some volunteers..- intervene with professionalism and commitment in respect of cultures.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Attached(e) to the Desk Ukraine/Moldova, Haiti and Venezuela, the/referent(e) desk has the following role :

He/she is the/the guarantor of the implementation of the Programmatic Strategy at the level of the desk and the countries of intervention’
He/she supports the Regional Director (DR) in the definition of the strategy of the countries of’ intervention.
He/she participates in the definition and the respect of the Strategic Programmes of the countries of the Desk
He/she is in charge of monitoring the proper implementation, relevance and quality of projects developed on missions.

Main activities of the post

An essential link between headquarters and the field, the/referent program has an extremely rich and varied spectrum of functions :

Strategy and Programming : Participates in the development of the strategies of the Countries of’ intervention followed by the Desk, annual programs and participates in their follow-up ; Ensures the coherence and sustainability of the programmes carried out in accordance with the’association strategy and the programming of each’ intervention country ;
Quality and Operational Relevance : Validates the operational strategy of the projects under development ; S’ ensures that any project complies with the current project cycle ; agrees checkpoints with the Country Directors Adjoint.es(DPA) to the Programmes/Coordinator, and carries out monitoring ; S’ ensures the implementation of the standard indicators defined with the technical referents and ensures their monitoring ; Follow-up of monthly’activity reports (APU, OFU, etc.) and communication with the country based on this document ; S’ ensures the planning and proper budgetary conduct of activities, and consistency with budgetary monitoring with regard to programme budget lines, and, in collaboration with the management officer of the Desk ; participates in the’ identification of potential implementation partnerships ; Validates the programmatic parts of donor reports (indicators, beneficiaries here, etc.).
Creation of’expertise : Participates in the sizing and planning of HR needs programs in collaboration with DR and Countries ; Validates technical job profiles and fact sheets (RISs) in coordination with the’ country team ; participates in the recruitment of Managers, Coordinator.trices and DPA Program (and techniques in collaboration with DOAP referents), through in particular an interview of validation and/or correction of technical tests ; Ensures the’interface between referralsrent.es techniques (DOAP), the desk and the countries, and manages the referralsrent.es techniques S’s are internalized at the Desk ; participates in the’actualization and’animation of certain modules program of the Preparation For Departure (PAD) in connection with the DOAP, the others Referrent.es Programmes Desk and the HR department ; Identifies the points of improvement linked to the programs in the country teams, and proposes a plan of reinforcement of the capacities acites, in connection with the expatriate and national HR department ;
Representation /External coordination : Maintains exchanges with its peers from other NGOs (in particular French NGOs) ; Develops operational partnerships with other humanitarian actors in support of the Pays du Desk ; participates in multi and bilateral meetings with donors (especially French and European donors) ; Participates in technical meetings related to the fields of’expertise of the countries monitored ;

YOUR PROFILE

Training and experience :

3 Years minimum on program coordination functions or field coordinator
Previous experience in project management in headquarters appreciated.
Significant experience in partnership development or consortium project management.
Training/Experience in economic & social sciences specialty food/nutrition, agronomy or equivalent highly appreciated.
English, French, Spanish, read, spoken and written
Having worked on one or more contexts, especially european or south american, is a plus

Skills and qualifications required :

Your field experience in coordination functions has necessarily brought you skills in project management and definition of operational strategies. You also have a great ability to operationalize a strategy, conceptualize and plan a project and synthesize and disseminate’ information. You are a force for proposal and good communicator, especially internally for fluid coordination between desks and departments.

More classically, your practice of’anglais is perfectly fluid and you are also perfectly at’aise with the Pack Office. A good practice of’spanish would be an undeniable plus.

IF YOU WILL OFFER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS

Position based at the headquarters of Solidarity International, in Clichy la Garenne (Mairie de Clichy Metro) with field trips
Contract CDD – 5 to 6 months. Framework status. Replacement of maternity leave
Monthly gross remuneration of : 3 183 € or 3 316 € depending on the grid in force at headquarters
Possibility of teleworking: 4 or 12 days of Teleworking per month or 100% of teleworking with 3 days of mandatory face-to-face per month. In accordance with the Telework Charter in force and the manager.
Leave : 2.0833 CP /month and 1 day RTT / full month of work
Days of recovery and medical coverage taken care of 100% during the field trips
