THE POST
Purpose of the post :
Implementation and monitoring of the activities of the food security and economic recovery programme, in particular the UCT, AGR and AVEC, under the direct supervision of the Team Leader.
Main responsibilities :
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Ensure project implementation in accordance with established plans ;
- Participate in the process of defining selection criteria with communities, from the’ identification and selection of beneficiaries, to household surveys and other studies (market research) ;
- Ensure post-distribution monitoring of unconditional cash transfers ;
- Set up and monitor individual and/or collective MRAs or remobilize existing ones, train and support them ;
- Support beneficiaries/groups in the development of Livelihoods activities and their economic empowerment ;
- To set up the AVECs, train its members, supervise and monitor their development and promote their empowerment ;
- Update the database, collect and transmit all the information necessary for project monitoring to the Program Officer and/or the Program Team Leader ;
- Prepare and implement activities related to’information of beneficiaries and stakeholders ;
- To contribute to the implementation of the technical training required within the framework of the project ;
- Contribute to the monitoring and’evaluation of the project ;
- Write or contribute to the writing of reports requested by the Program Officer and or the ProgramTeam Leader ;
- Any other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Qualifications & experience
- Work experience in the field of humanitarian intervention within an international NGO, a United Nations agency or a ministry of the DRC intervention sectors ;
- At least 2 years of practical experience in Livelihoods programs and in rural development ;
- Skills proven in the creation and support of AGR beneficiaries and WITH group ;
- Experience in cash transfer programs ;
- Commitment to learn and implement the organization’s policies and procedures ;
- Excellent mastery of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint ;
- Total professional mastery of French ;
- Master of the local language ( Fulfubé, Gbaya and Sango ) ;
- Driving license ( A ) would be an asset ;
- Experience / knowledge of the terrain ( Mbéré and Lom and Djerem ).
Education: (include certificates, licenses etc.)
Degree of Bac + 3 in agronomy, agro-economics in international development, or in another relevant field.
