Founded in 1991, Secours Islamique France (SIF) is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) for emergency relief and development. SIF acts in strict neutrality, without distinction of origin, gender or religion and is dedicated to alleviating the suffering of the poorest populations in the world.
SIF is looking for a Flying Logistics Coordinator for its headquarters in Massy (91).
Context
Under the responsibility of the Director of Programs and Operations at’International, you will carry out missions of’interim, support or reframing, aiming to improve the quality of logistics work of field teams, in the areas of logistics management, procurement management and security management.
Your main missions will be the following (non-exhaustive and evolving list):
- Coordinate, plan and ensure the monitoring of the mission’s logistics activities.
- Regularly update, integrate and monitor the implementation of the security plan of the mission.
- In coordination with the desks, ensure that all’achat and logistics activities comply with the relevant logistics procedures.
- Contribute to the development of the operational strategy of the mission.
Profile
- Diploma required : bac +5 in logistics or diploma of Logistics Manager of humanitarian action type bioforce.
- 3 Years of’ experience as a logistician in the field in the humanitarian sector.
- Rigor, composure, reactivity and good capacity of’analysis.
- Mastery of English at’ written as oral.
Conditions
- 6-month CSD renewable as part of a mission opening, to be filled as soon as possible.
- Status Full-time Master’s officer.
- Field mission travel (75%).
