The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), the world’s leading sustainable forest management certification scheme, is seeking a consultant with expertise in addressing the requisites of Motion 49/2021. The focus is on revising the FSC-PRO-30-006 Ecosystem Services Procedure, understanding concepts like mitigation hierarchy, compensation, and neutralization beyond value chains. The consultancy aims to provide strategic guidance, conduct extensive stakeholder interviews, and produce a White Paper outlining technical requirements to ensure conformity with Motion 49/2021.
