The specific language requirements for this position are detailed below. Introduction

The position is located in the Resource Planning Unit of the company ( ERP ) and administrative applications ( Admin Apps ) within the Application Management Support Service in the Department of information and technology management ( INFOTEC ). INFOTEC is responsible for information management and the use of technology for the ILO. INFOTEC provides modern infrastructure, services and technologies, secure and reliable for computer applications to enable the ILO to manage information effectively and use technology to carry out its mission. The incumbent provides expertise in process modeling, project management, software design, implementation and’assistance with personalized solutions for ad hoc and business applications, including modules and business resource planning processes ( ERP ). It provides the link between INFOTEC and operational units by determining the best way to implement software to rationalize, automate and facilitate efficiency and process improvement. The incumbent is placed under the hierarchical supervision of the head of the “ERP and administrative applications” unit within the Application Management Support Service ( AMS ). Specific tasks

1.Lead task forces and working groups within the Office to implement computer applications and integrate them into cloud solutions. Implement and comply with project management standards, including the preparation of cost-benefit analyzes, total property costs, status reports, project plans, work estimates, etc. Prepare the necessary information documents and presentations to governance bodies and user communities. 2.Identify the possibilities for modifying processes, systems and structures. Recommend the best way to use standard software applications or direct the development of personalized solutions in order to achieve the company’s strategic objectives,which results in increased effectiveness and efficiency for the Office at headquarters and in the field. Ensure that changes are implemented effectively, taking into account reference data management rules and application integration standards. 3.Prepare the documentation necessary for the exercise of the function, including framing documents, process designs, functional designs, etc. Ensure that appropriate software development and configuration practices are implemented in accordance with accepted standards as part of the software and software development cycle methodologies such as Agile and ITIL. 4.Supervise applications, solutions and processes supported by INFOTEC to provide administrative and’other office services, including the ( PGI ) integrated management software package and integration with other complementary and integrated solutions and processes such as reporting solutions, integrated workplace management systems ( IWMS ), performance management, results-based management ( RBM ), etc. 5.Keep abreast of software and technology developments related to operational processes within the ILO. Make recommendations to the Service based on best practices in force outside. 1.Provide expert advice to the head of unit and recommend an action plan in the following ERP areas: definition of the scope of solutions, needs analysis, gap analysis, feasibility, functional design, application configuration, integration tests, user acceptance tests, production deployment, support and training. 2.Define standards and procedures to validate the integrity and operational viability of existing operational processes. In collaboration with the head of unit, he ensures that all the procedures and associated documentation are kept up to date according to the evolution of the needs of the company. 3.Perform an analysis of the strategic impact of the processes,existing systems and structures to be modified and provide an estimate of the effort to be provided. Qualifications required

Training

Higher university degree in information technology management, IT, business management / administration, finance, accounting or other related fields. A first level university degree ( license or equivalent ) in one of the above areas or in another relevant area, with two additional years of relevant experience, in addition to the experience mentioned below, will be accepted in place of the higher diploma.

Experience

At least seven years of professional experience, including at international level, in the design and implementation of digital applications and / or solutions, in particular the implementation of Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning ( ERP ) applications. Experience in the area Oracle ERP HR or Finance, including at least three of the following modules / components: HR space – human resources, advanced social benefits, payroll, work distribution, staff actions; finance space – supplier accounts, customer accounts, general ledger, cash management, fixed assets, purchases, projects or grant accounting. Experience in implementing software that supports public sector applications for travel, budgeting or results-based management is an advantage.Experience in the use of technologies such as Oracle Business Intelligence and Cloud products; understanding the Agile working methods and Prince 2 methodologies is an advantage.

Languages

Good understanding of methodologies and best practices in the implementation of ERP and personalized development, including Agile. Conditions of employment

  •  Any commitment and / or extension of contract is subject to the Staff Regulations and other internal rules in force.
