Position Overview

The Accounts Payable Junior Accountant/Coordinator will be responsible for the processing of corporate credit card reports and payments, employee reimbursements and other tasks as needed. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager and working closely with the Senior A/P Accountant, the A/P Junior Accountant/Coordinator is a key position in the 9-person finance department that supports a global, multi-entity organization.

Responsibilities

  •  Process all employee expense reports and corporate credit cards while reviewing for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  •  Follow up with employees for expense classification and collection of receipts.
  •  Ensure accurate and timely payments.
  •  Support Senior A/P Accountant with vendor payments and other tasks as needed.
  •  Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and GAAP.
  •  Continuous process improvements.
  •  Assist with year-end audits and other general ledger projects as required by the Controller.
  •  Respond to internal and external inquiries related to accounts payable.

Compensation

At BSR we have implemented a transparent total compensation framework with an emphasis on internal equity. In order to maintain our equity our hiring rate for this position is $57,453. Loca tion adjustment will apply if successful candidates resides in San Francisco, NY or Paris.

Qualifications

  •  A minimum of 1 year of experience with accounts payable or general ledger accounting.
  •  Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  •  Cloud accounting software experience preferred.
  •  Experience with Expensify and Sage Intacct
  •  Experience with system implementation a plus.
  •  Ability to prioritize job tasks while working independently and accurately.
  •  Time management and organization are key.
  •  Provide a high level of service to internal customers and vendors/clients.
  •  Ability to thrive in a complex, high-paced environment.
