A major player in the social and solidarity economy, the French Red Cross manages a network of more than 600 establishments and services in the health, medico-social and training sectors. It also heads 12 regional health and social training institutes.
Internationally, the CRF operates in 16 countries alongside National Societies and 2 regional platforms (PIRAC and PIROI), on the following themes: Health and Disaster Risk Management.

OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION DURING THE DURATION OF THE MISSION
Reporting to the Head of Delegation and in functional contact with the Program Coordinator, the project managers, and the SERA manager, the Reporting and Communication Delegate supports the delegation’s program teams. He/She supports the delegations on reporting in compliance with donor requirements, on both internal and external communication of the delegation and contributes to representation with donors and partners.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF TASKS
- Component 1 – Ensure the consolidation of reporting in relation to lessor compliance
- Component 2 – Support the development of new project proposals and the implementation of activities
- Component 3 – Ensure internal and external communication of the delegation
- Component 4 – Support for the SNH in the implementation of projects

TYPE OF CONTRACT : VSI (International Solidarity Volunteer)
LOCATION : Nouakchott with travel to Nouadhibou (Migrant Assistance Program) and Bassikounou (Malian Refugee Assistance Program and Risk and Disaster Management Program).
COUNTRY OF ASSIGNMENT : Mauritania
DURATION OF THE DELEGATE’S MISSION : 12 months
