CONTEXT :

Following the departure of the current person, we are looking for a staff care specialist psychologist at the Handicap International headquarters.

OBJECTIFS DU POSTE :

As a Staff Care Specialist, your mission is to define, implement and coordinate the “Staff care” policy for all HI employees in the area of ​​mental health. You also implement stress prevention and management actions and advise managers and HR managers on all issues related to the mental health of HI staff.

You will report to the manager of the Quality of Life and Working Conditions (QVCT) Division and will be part of a team of 5 people including another Staff Care Specialist Psychologist with whom you will work closely.

Dans ce cadre, vos principales fonctions :

Mission 1 : Standard et Expertise

• Contribute to the production and continuous improvement of mental health frameworks.

• Support the deployment of mental health policies, processes and tools for the different populations of the organization (National Staff, International Staff and Headquarters Staff).

Mission 2 : Stratégie et pilotage : Développement de la culture staff care au sein de HI

• Improve the visibility of resources and psychological support offered through appropriate internal communication

• Prepare training workshops on request or as needed for staff on topics related to staff mental health (Psychological first aid, Identifying psychotrauma, Resilience and stress management, etc.).

• Build and identify a network of local psychologists at HI headquarters and in countries of intervention.

Mission 3: Operational implementation of staff care

3.1: Provide individual and collective support to International Staff, National Staff and Headquarters Staff:

• Briefing before employees leave on a mission, psychological support during the mission (ad hoc individual remote support) and during critical incidents, debriefing upon return from the mission.

• Ensure monitoring of mental health in the field, report alerts.

3.2: In the event of crisis management, offer support and provide advice in your area of ​​expertise

• Advise members of the crisis unit on psychological issues (relationship with family, victims, unit members – psychological impact of the crisis, assessment of the psychiatric crisis situation, etc.)

• Provide psychological support to victims of the incident directly (remotely or on site) or via pre-identified local resources

3.3: Ensure the implementation of a “staff care” system (mental health scope) and implement technical advice in this scope.

• Advise HR and management managers on the deployment of psychological support systems.

• Participate in recruitment on the technical side, support and technically supervise staff care psychologists (and staff care relays) in the field

• Lead and ensure that the level of skills of the ALF (Family Liaison Agent) group that can be mobilized in the event of crisis management is maintained.

• Manage the external psychological support platform system.

REQUIRED PROFILE:

• Bac +5 level training: Master II in clinical psychology or social psychology / work with additional clinical experience or training (NB: It is mandatory to hold a psychologist qualification and to be registered in the Adeli file of your department (National directory of health professionals) to practice in France.)

• Significant experience as a psychotherapist and working in an institution or organization.

• Experience in trauma clinic highly desirable. In-house consultation experience is an asset.

• Knowledge of the humanitarian sector desired / expatriate experience appreciated

• Ability to take sufficient distance from one’s profession to be able to make suggestions and know how to adapt one’s working environment to different areas of intervention (head office and abroad) while taking cultural differences into account.

• Available for short trips to intervention sites if necessary.

• Emotional and relational intelligence, responsiveness, ethical and political sense

• Taste for working in a multidisciplinary team

• Fluent French and English / proficiency in Arabic or Spanish an asset.

The Lyon premises are easily accessible by public transport (bus, metro). A car park and a bicycle park are also available. Within the building, access ramps and elevators guarantee better circulation. All workstations are located in Open Space but boxes are available on each floor to work in peace if necessary. The workspace is very bright.

  • Part-time permanent contract 80% based in Lyon or Brussels from the beginning of November 2024
