Sharepoint Analyst At Amnesty International


Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth operation of the Amnesty’s Sharepoint and M365 Suite while supporting Users in working in a collaborative, secure, and compliant manner.

About you

We are looking for a candidate who has experience and understanding of PowerShell scripting environments, including Sharepoint, Azure, and Exchange Modules.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience and understanding of the Sharepoint online environment. This includes advanced understanding of Site Collections, Libraries, Content types, and managing access and permissions. The candidate must be fluent in English both writing and verbally.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead on providing third line support to multiple geographical end-users, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to complex, multi-platform issues in SharePoint.
  • Through active engagement with users, support the SharePoint Manager in identifying, designing and developing the automation of business processes within the current environment, to enhance user experience.
  • Assist in the configuration, customization, and maintenance of SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and related components.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest M365 features, tools, and best practices, specializing in SharePoint, and providing recommendations for improvements.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrable experience and understanding of touch point system such as MS Teams, Exchange, Power Automate, MS Forms, Power Apps and the MS Office Suit.
  • Excellent communication and user engagement skills with experience of running training for diverse groups of users
  • Good knowledge of Web Technologies, including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Json and XML
  • Understanding of Office 365 services; SharePoint Online, SP2016, SharePoint Enterprise, AZURE AD and 365 product suites.
