Project Manager Digital Transformation SAP S/4 HANA* At Welthungerhilfe

The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with a contract duration of two years. There are good prospects for an extension. Employment location can be flexible within Germany, but we will meet from time to time at our headquarters in Bonn Bad Godesberg.

To proactively help shaping those changes, we need you to join our Digital Transformation Office (DTO) as Head of Project Digital Transformation SAP S/4 HANA. The goal of the DTO is to make Welthungerhilfe even more efficient and future-oriented. To achieve this, we need personalities who are fearless and unconventional, have the courage to bring in new ideas and take responsibility. With the global introduction of new software solutions, we are digitizing processes and ways of working. We are actively shaping the associated cultural change within Welthungerhilfe.

Your responsibilities

• You independently manage complex national and international software projects and drive them forward in close collaboration with the project team.
• You are responsible for the overall project management of the migration of existing business processes to an SAP S/4HANA solution (especially in the areas of Finance, Logistics and Human Resources).
• Together with the stakeholders, you develop an implementation and transformation strategy and the project scope of SAP S/4HANA.
• You initialize, budget, plan and implement digitalization projects independently and in coordination with your Team Lead and the Executive Management (agile project management).
• Communication and transparency are fundamental to digital transformation: in coordination with your team and the Units involved, you create and use suitable platforms, training formats and media.
• We are the point of contact for many employees and teams.You advise them on questions, show them possible solutions and eliminate fears about digital transformation.

Your profile

• You have successfully completed a master’s or diploma degree and have strong experience in project management of IT projects, ideally experience in multi-project management.
• You have at least three years of experience in overall project management of SAP transformation projects. This includes SAP S/4HANA systems, SAP S/4HANA migrations as well as knowledge of Fiori and ideally Solution Manager.
• As an SAP application consultant, you will ideally have worked with Finance, Logistics and Human Resources.
• If you also have experience and knowledge in SAP Roles and Authorizations, SAP Process Integration and/or SAP Process Orchestration, that would be a great advantage.
• You can show relevant certifications in Scrum and Project Management i.e. PMP/PMI/IPMA.
• You see yourself as an innovator with enthusiasm for digital transformation and have a solid knowledge of agile project methods.
• You are a team player with a sense of humor and resistance in the context of change processes.
• Your colleagues appreciate your strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Especially abroad we do sometimes work under difficult conditions – intercultural empathy characterizes you. In return, you will have the exciting opportunity to advance digitization in a completely unfamiliar environment.
• Fluent English is a basic requirement – our team is international. German language skills are an advantage.
