Nancy Pelosi says the Democrats believe that Science and Governance are the key to crushing the coronavirus. Pelosi said until the GOP can agree, the pandemic will continue to destroy the lives and livelihoods of the people.
Pelosi demands that Republicans accept science first before any stimulus deal can be agreed upon, according to her, without the understanding that science is “key”, President Trump will just be spending money without actually crushing the virus.
Appearing on CNN, Pelosi highlights House Democrats key plan for the American people.
“The fact is If we don’t agree to the science to crush the virus, if they did what is in our bill that Science detects that will do, then if will do that we can lower the incident of the virus in certain areas, open schools, open businesses and the rest,” Pelosi said.
“If we don’t, we’re are just giving the money to the President to spend anyway he wants and that has not been in crushing the virus.”
“And again in terms of the deal, we all wan an agreement, nobody wants an agreement more than the House Democrats, we represent these people,” she added
“We’ve been fighting for food for the hungry, rent assistance for those who may be evicted but most importantly, we really have to stop the spread of this virus,” she said.
Pelosi say her goal is to get this deal done for the American people before their November rents is due.
