3iSolution is a not-for-profit organization created in Sept 2008 and registered in France as Association by law of 1901 under the name of iMMAP France and still operating legally under that name. Currently, 3iSolution is working with the humanitarian and development sector in 10 different countries and have been active in more than 25 countries during the last 15 years. We have implemented more than 300 projects and have currently 150 staffs working worldwide. Our work focuses in using innovation and the technology knowledge, which is built by the private and academic sectors, so to enhance the power of information to make direct and concrete impact at the beneficiaries’ level, who are the organization that we support.
Description of Duties
The Livestock Production Specialist is responsible for implementing Monitoring & Evaluation activities, data collection and analysis related to crop production related projects under a Third Party Monitoring program.
(S)he guarantees the good performance and the quality of the tool design, data collection and overall technical analysis of her/his expertise.
Diagnosis and project design
- Participate in the preparation and implementation of assessment and diagnostics
- Contribute, through livestock production expertise, to develop appropriate tools for data collection and analysis.
- Implement activities in compliance with 3iSolution strategy, 3iSolution technical requirements, and donor criteria.
Implementation and technical monitoring
- Provide technical inputs related to livestock production expertise for TPM activities requiring this field of expertise.
- Under the supervision of the Deputy Team Leader, develop and plan the TPM activities and with the partner(s) according to objectives
- Ensure the achievement of results of the programs (s)he is responsible for
- Supervise and support the monitoring and evaluation of the implemented activities through field visit and remote monitoring.
- Conduct data processing and analysis related to livestock production expertize
- Anticipate the difficulties associated with conducting activities and help solve problems related to programs activies
Reporting / communications / representation
- Write reports or appendixes relating to his/her technical field of experience
- Ensure compliance with reporting deadlines and formats
- Maintain a local operational communications network and good relationships with local and governmental authorities, donor representatives, UN agencies, and other international agencies
- Respond to the requirements of Headquarters concerning specific needs
Under the hierarchical authority of: Deputy Team Leader
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in animal health, livestock production or relevant field
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in animal health or livestock proction.
- Soft skills:
- Ability to interact effectively with international and national personnel.
- Fluent Arabic writing and speaking is mandatory.
- Fluent English writing and speaking is essential
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and analyze data and translate it into effective information.
- Ability to work well in a small team, operate under pressure, prioritize and deliver high-quality work within deadlines, and meet team objectives;
