Assignment :
Under the supervision of the Regional Director of Operations – Central Africa, as Country Director in Cameroon, your missions will be to:
Ensure the updating and implementation of the country strategy
Lead the coordination team and the country team to ensure a good working atmosphere and positive collaboration within the ACF teams and with partners
Manage 10 people directly and a total team of 150 people
Secure, consolidate and identify adequate funding for ongoing and future programs
Ensure the implementation of projects in accordance with plans and at the level of quality in line with ACF requirements in terms of technical quality and MEAL, gender and protection
Promote innovative programmatic approaches in the various sectors of ACF activities
Ensure the implementation of accountability and community participation mechanisms
Ensure that the mission maintains an adequate level of emergency response and has a proactive approach to accessing the most vulnerable populations
Ensure the development and implementation of a strategy advocacy for the mission, aiming to promote the programs and improve the political framework in which they are set while being in line with ACF’s priorities
Ensure the implementation of ACF’s new management and management tools
Guarantee the safety of the teams: manage the regular updating and implementation of the security plan in accordance with ACF standards and procedures When you

Profile:
You hold a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in development project management, social action or humanitarian action, international relations, or political science.
You have at least 6 years of successful professional experience in coordinating development or humanitarian activities in a complex environment, with a security component.
You have already successfully supervised multicultural technical teams and managed humanitarian and/or development operations in a similar context. Experience in Central Africa and/or experience with ACF are a plus.
You are capable of leadership, adaptation, and innovation, with a sense of diplomacy.
You are fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
Conditions of employment
Vaccination against MPOX is recommended for employees traveling to this country.
Fixed-term contract under French law: 24 months
Gross monthly salary: from 3572 to 4128 euros depending on experience, including 13th month
Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary
Increase in basic salary: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract
Per diem and monthly living expenses: 619 euros net, paid in the field
Monthly context allowance: 150 euros
Child allowance: 1500 euros per year and per child present in the country of origin (ceiling of 6000 euros/year)
Individual housing
Medical coverage: 100% of the coverage of health contributions and repatriation insurance, your medical expenses (as well as those of your dependents) until 1 month after the end of your contract
Salary maintenance arrangements (illness, maternity, paternity)
Leave and RnR: 25 days per year of CP and 20 RnR per year; cover for the ticket with a ceiling to go to the chosen break zone, and 215 euros of fixed compensation per RnR
