BREAKING: Wide Tension over Joe Biden’s ‘Contentious’ Cabinet Pick.
Joe Biden is under fire from top Democrats over his cabinet pick. Roar tension as some Democrats are apoplectic with some of the names picked by Biden as members of his economic team.
Biden announced six key choices for his economic team Monday nominating former Fed Chair Janet Yellen for Treasury Secretary. If confirmed she will be the first woman to lead the department and she will face a unique set of challenges managing economic fallout from the pandemic.
The six key Biden’s economic team picks includes Janet Yallen for Treasury Secretary, Wally Adeyemo for Deputy Treasury Secretary, Cecilia Rouse for Council of Economic Advisers Chair, Jared Bernstein for Council for Economic Advisers Member, Heather Boushey for Council of Economic Advisers Member and Neera Tanden for the Office of Management and Budget.
In a tweet Monday, Biden says “We have no time to lose to address the economic crisis we face and build our economy back better. This team will be ready on Day One to pull every lever of government to help those hardest hit by COVID-19 and right the structural inequalities in our economy”

BREAKING: Wide Tension over Joe Biden’s ‘Contentious’ Cabinet Pick
Biden’s nomination of Neera Tanden from the liberal think tank, the Center for American progress to lead the Office of Management and Budget is met with alot of pushbacks.
There are reports that Democrats have floated the idea of a sort of sacrificial lamb to let the Senate flex it’s muscles so to speak maybe needs a confirmation of one person to allow others to more easily pass through and she’s being identified potentially as someone who might fit that category.
According Charlie Gasparino “Well, I think Janet Yellen is going to pass. I think they’re all going to get through except for Neera Tanden.”
“This is all based on this analysis that only give you that the GOP keeps the Senate and i think people inside the Biden camp believe it’s a very good chance that GOP going to take one of those Georgia Senate runoffs, if that happens there’s 51 Republicans and you know, you need votes to get through, you need Republican votes to get through, that being said Janet Yellen, she’ll be approved,” Gasparino said.
Gasparino said he is more concerned about Neera Tanden because of her Partisan records over the years. Gasparino points out that her Partisan records and baseless attacks on Republicans will be her doom because the GOP won’t just turn a blind eye to that. “She’s probably not going to go through but i think the rest will,” Gasparino added.
